We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time, with changes taking effect immediately. It is the website users responsibility to familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions each time they use this website.
After placing your order via this website you will receive an automatically generated email to inform you that we have received your order. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. If there are any problems regarding stock availability or other delivery issues, we will contact you.
Account holders will be invoiced under the details on file or as instructed in a purchase order. A purchase order or number must be supplied if required by a company or institution’s purchasing policy.
For non account holders, after submitting your order, we will email you as soon as possible during office hours to confirm the total cost including freight, and to provide details for prepayment by direct credit, cheque, or credit card via PayPal. There is a minimum spend of $20 for credit card orders (excl. freight).
Cash sale orders will not be dispatched until payment is received.
We will generally email you to confirm dispatch.
Our offices are open from Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Prices shown on this website are inclusive of New Zealand Goods & Services Tax (GST) at 15%. Goods exported from New Zealand will be zero-rated for GST. A tax invoice will be provided for every order.
Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices published on this website will be correct at the time of order, unless a back-order is required and there is a price change as a result. If your order is affected, you will be given the option to cancel.
We reserve the right to charge a surcharge on orders paid by credit card in order to recover costs.
We will open credit accounts for most museums, archives, libraries, schools, universities and other public or government institutions. Private institutions and businesses may also open accounts with acceptable credit references. Credit accounts are conditional on an annual spend of $1000 minimum.

If you wish to collect your order please advise us in the free format area of the order form, or phone us on 06 211 3991 to make arrangements. Conservation Supplies is primarily a trade supplier and does not have a shop, however collections can be made by prior arrangement.
We will accept returned goods by prior arrangement. Please contact us on 06 211 3991 or email us with details.
Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods will be replaced, credited or refunded in compliance with consumer statutory requirements.
Other returned goods can only be refunded if in perfect, resalable condition. The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning and/or replacing goods due to no fault of Conservation Supplies.
Claims for Damage / Loss or Missing Items
Occasionally things can go wrong. In the rare event that your order has been damaged in transit, or has incorrect or missing items you must notify Conservation Supplies within 7 days of receipt of the delivery, by phone to 06 211 3991, or by email.
For damaged items you must comply with the courier company conditions and where possible either note or refuse to sign for visibly damaged goods. Providing photographs of damaged goods may expedite the claims process.
Suitability for Use
Conservation Supplies takes every care to maintain the highest standards of quality and customer service, however it is the users responsibility to ensure that the goods purchased are suitable for the intended purpose. No guarantee is given or implied that any product we supply is fit for any particular purpose, and our liability is strictly limited to the invoice value of the items concerned.
We supply products made by various manufacturers. The warranty of the product will be subject to the guarantee policy of the manufacturer, and any claims must be in accordance with the terms of such warranties.
Product Changes & Substitutions
Conservation Supplies reserves the right to change material specifications or substitute similar products for those displayed on this website or in our catalogue. You will be contacted if this affects a pending order.
We can arrange export orders by air and sea freight. Orders can be placed via the website or by contacting us directly. A full quotation including estimated freight costs will be provided before the order is confirmed. Final freight costs will be dependent on confirmed weight and volume once the order is packed.
