QuakeHold Museum Wax EQ01
EQ01
Quakehold Museum wax is a blend of Microcrystalline Waxes that protect your valuable collections from bumps and earthquakesIt is primarily for use on sealed wooden shelving as it protects the wood as well as the securing items to it
Can be used with porcelain, crystal, glass, ceramic, marble and wood finishes
This wax is used on items not moved often
It also performs well as a temporary "glue" to hold items in place, while being cleaned, repaired or photographed
Some very happy customers
Hello, after the September quake in Christchurch I purchased some Museum Wax.–I stuck all of the plates above the window on with it as well as those on the dresser. –
The epicentre of the February quake was about 4km from our home.
We were away for the actual quake but when we returned home on the afternoon of the 23rd, one of the first things we both looked for, was to see if the plates had stayed where they were put.–
They had all fallen off in September and most were broken.
What a joy it was to see them all still in place after what was a far worse shake in this area.–
Cheers Jenny Day.– 12.3/11
All of our ceramic works on display were quake waxed so no movement there great when the system works –
also no damage to the collection or any other works on display.
Good wake up call though to think about the ongoing issues associated with long term protection from after shocks etc.

Hi, just wanted to say how fantastic your Museum Wax is. All of my ceramics on shelfs and other bits on walls survived the Christchurch earthquake. I would recommend it to everyone with fragile displays pieces. Thank you again. I've been recommending to everyone I talk to.
