Microwave Cooking for Wheat Starch:
Add one part starch powder to six parts water
Stir to mix completely
Cook in microwave at medium high setting for 10 seconds
Remove and stir
Repeat cook/stir cycles until paste thickens and becomes translucent
Cover and let stand
