A pure grade of Gelatine powder, light straw in colour
Selected for use as a reversible timber adhesive especially for furniture
restoration, as the glue line is weaker than the wood.
This means that if the joint is put under any stress the adhesive will fail in
preference to the timber
Dissolves readily in hot water to make a fast setting adhesive
Recommended mixture equal parts by weight or 3 parts by volume of the powder
to 2 parts by volume of hot water
When cold this mixture can be reliquified by heating in a hot water bath
The set adhesive can be reversed with warm water and if very old with a
2% solution of Ammonia
