Thymol is used to prevent or destroy mould growth.
The two methods of treatment are as a fumigant in a sealed chamber to destroy
living mould spores
In a disaster situation where the Thymol is used as a spray to sterilise the area
where objects are drying, after they have been subjected to water damage.
